Biasanya setelah lulus itu anda jadi pengangguran beberapa bulan, baru kerja. Alhamdulillah saya mengalami kejadian yang berbeda dari orang-orang kebanyakan. hari jumat lulus, selasa (karena senin 17 agustusan) saya langsung bekerja di salah satu perusahaan Asing (join venture) antara Hongkong dan Singapore.

Ada juga satu moment yang luar biasa: saya akhirnya mendapatkan calon pendamping hidup, beberapa hari sebelum saya sarjana (tanggal 11 August 2009). sebut saja namanya Rifa Nurrizqi Djuuna.

Ternyata tidak semudah Nusoap sebagai web server dan jax-ws sebagai client. saya membaca sebuah buku yang berjudul XML Web Service dan artikel yang berjudul Developing Web Service Using JAX-WS untuk menemukan jawabannya.  Sebelum memulai penulisan artikel di sini saya menggunakan Nusoap versi 0.7.3 yang dapat anda download di sini dan Jax-WS versi 2.1.

Untuk menginteroperabilitas antara jax-ws dan Nusoap ada 3 Hal yang perlu diperhatikan disisi jax-ws yaitu harus terdapat : targetNamespace, action, dan service name. ketiga hal ini untuk interoperabilitas client yang menggunakan java atau .Net tidak terlalu berpengaruh, namun berbeda halnya dengan PHP. 3 hal ini sangat dibutuhkan oleh Nusoap untuk menangani pertukaran pesan.

saya akan jelaskan satu persatu fungsinya. targetNamespace berfungsi untuk mendefinisikan secara global apa nama umum dari service ini(web service mana yang jadi target untuk di panggil). Untuk mendefinisikan targetNamespace ditulis dengan pola sebagai berikut : urn:nama_yang_diinginkan. Untuk kolom action berfungsi untuk mendefinisikan tanda apa yang harus kita panggil untuk menandakan bahwa service ini yang kita akan gunakan. pola untuk menuliskan action sebuah SOAP sebagai berikut : urn:nama_yang_diinginkan#nama_soap_action. Terakhir adalah service name, service name digunakan untuk memberikan nama service (tidak wajib hanya sebagai idetifier tapi amat dibutuhkan oleh Nusoap).  ketiga-tiganya ini bertipe string sehingga dalam menuliskannya, harus diapit tandan “(double quotes).

Web Service yang saya buat sebagai sample di bawah ini adalah untuk menunjukkan nama yang mengakses aplikasi tersebut.  web service berikut saya namakanya projectnya TestingWS. saya menggunakan netbeans sebagai tools dalam membuat web service ini.

langkah-langkah membangun web service dengan netbeans:

1. Nyalakan Netbeans

2. Bikin Project baru dan namakan TestingWS. caranya File -> New Project.

3. Pilih di Categories Java Web kemudian di bagian projects Web Application. kemudian tekan tombol next.

4. Berikan nama terhadap project tersebut sebagai contoh TestingWS. Kemudian Next.

5. Lakukan Next hingga tombol finish bisa di klik.

6. Klik kanan di nama project TestingWS kemudian pilih New->Web Service.

7. Masukkan nama Web Service yang kita inginkan di kolom Web Service Name(saya menamakan Web Service ini adalah testWS).

8. dikolom package ketikkan org.testing.ws. setelah itu klik finish.

9. setelah itu akan terbuka halaman web service ketikkan hal-hal yang gak ada di halaman tersebut(telah di bold di kutipan script dibawah ini) :

10. Kemudian klik kanan pada project yang kitabuat kemudian deploy lah project tersebut.

11. testing web service dapat dilakukan dengan klik kanan pada web service yang kita buat kemudian pilih Test a Web Service.

Key Value :masukkan sebuah string atau nama anda. dan lihatlah jika di melakukan return result yang sama dengan yang anda inputkan berarti benar.

Langkah berikutnya adalah membuat php file yang menggunakan nusoap yang berfungsi sebagai soap client.

1. bikin satu folder dan tempatkan di folder htdocs (buat yang menggunakan XAMPP) atau di folder public_html buat yang menggunakan linux/unix. namakan saja sesuai keinginan anda.

2. Nusoap yang anda telah download tadi di extract kedalam folder yang telah diberi nama lib. folder tersebut kemudian anda cut and paste ke dalam folder yang anda telah buat di bawah folder htdocs.

3. Ketikkan script seperti dibawah ini

4. untuk melihat jalan atau tidaknya, silahkan anda panggil file client.php melalui web browser. contoh http://localhost/ws/client.php. Jika menampilkan nama ‘Marion’ maka web service client anda jalan dan tutorial ini selesai.

1. Background
University Al Azhar Indonesia has implemented Academic Information System (SIA), which consists of modules such as, Study Plan Card, Time Table, and Study Result Card. The existing SIA has been developed based on client-server system, which make the existing system is rigil to be improved and extended.

In order to improve the client-server system to the multi tier system, it is compulsory to plan a new architecture. Furthermore the security of the system is important that have to give more attention because the current architecture is unreliable in security if the system is going to migrate to the multi tier system.

The objective is to improve quality of information service and reliability of the system to keep the validity of data when the migration occurred. Furthermore, to improve in accessibility and adaptability of future change.

In Network security planning, it is compulsory for the architect to conduct a trade-off between user comfortability and the level of the security asked. The solution architecture approach for decrease the gap between comfortability is always equal with the reverse of security [SAP00].

The new architecture, that will be implemented in University Al Azhar Indonesia using Web Services as the “middleware” of the data exchange. Furthermore, this system has to be able to keep the validity of data and the security of central database and the security while transaction.

2. Problem Statement
Based on the background which we have mentioned above, there are some problems that will be discussed in this thesis. The main problem is how the academic information system in University Al Azhar Indonesia can have wide range of access(at Cell phone, Web, Desktop Application, etc), easy to expand, while the data security is kept. This problem can be specified into 3 specific problems:
2.1. How to improve the current SIA of University Al Azhar Indonesia?
2.2. What is the security planning of the new architecture of SIA?
2.3. How to implement the new architecture in the running current system?

3. Objectives
The objective of this thesis is to produce a new architecture which able to guarantee the security of transaction and easy to expand in future.

4. Scope
These are the boundaries that going to be the guidelines in this thesis:
4.1. Network Design and Securing Data Technique while transaction that going to be implemented in SIAK.
4.2. The development of Library web services will server for study final result information only.

5. Writing Systemacy
The systemacy of writing this thesis is going to be as follows:
• Chapter I: Background
Consist of problem background, problem statement, research objective, and writing systemacy.

• Chapter II: Principles
Consist of principles that support the development of new architecture of SIAK of University Al Azhar Indonesia, involve OSI Layer, Web Service as the protocol that going to be used and the System Security in Internetwork.

• Chapter III: Analysis and Design
Consist of analysis and design of the architecture of SIAK that able to guarantee the security of data while transaction.

Analysis involve the general system description, architecture of academic information system that being developed, academic information system requirements analysis, library requirements and system protocol analysis, and analysis of the security that going to be implemented. Result of the analysis will be used as the resources for designing the new architecture of SIAK.

Analysis and design of the system is going to be use object oriented method with Unified Modelling Language (UML) tool.

• Chapter IV: Implementation and Testing
This chapter will talk all about the implementation and testing of the software that produced based on the analysis and design from the chapter III.

• Chapter V: Conclusion and Future Work
Consist of the conclusion of the thesis and the future work that has to be learn and develop based on the implementation of this thesis.

6. Research Methodology :
1. Literature Study: Read and Learn all information resource (textbook, journal, paper, article, etc) had correlated with Web Service and SIA Development.
2. Analyze the standard communiacation protocol where used by web services for SIA.
3. Produce the new architecture of SIA that have the wide range accessibility.
4. Plan the security system of SIA that can guarantee the security of transaction.
5. Implement the new architecture in current running SIA.
6. Test and debug the new architecture.

Model - View - Controll Architecture

Model :
pada bagian ini terletak konektor JDBC. jadi seluruh configurasi mengenai koneksi ke server dan query2nya berada pada bagian ini.

Controll :
disini saya akan mencoba gunakan JSP, nantinya JSP ini yang akan mengambil query yang ada pada bagian Model, yaitu mana yang akan digunakan ketika terjadi request dari user pada aplikasi handphone. seharusnya dari tulisan yang saya baca, seluruhnya harusnya View di kontrol oleh bagian ini juga dalam artian tampilan view yang akan dilihat oleh user.

Namun karena aplikasi ini tidak berjalan seperti web yang berada pada satu tempat (satu server) tapi yang satu(viewer) pada handphone, maka pengontrolan tampilan yang akan digunakan user untuk melihat hasil eksekusi atas apa yang diinginkan tidak dapat dilakukan. yang bisa dilakukan oleh bagian ini hanya memberikan xml file yang nantinya akan digunakan oleh gadget/handphone untuk mengeluarkan hasil query berdasarkan request dari handphone.

View:
Ini pada Sisi Pengguna / User yaitu user interface dari aplikasi Mobile itu sendiri yang ada pada handphone.

Akibatnya / Kekurangan :
Pengubahan interface (view) tidak bisa di ubah melalui fungsi controll, Layaknya yang diterapkan pada aplikasi Web dengan JSP. Namun harus pada aplikasi handphone langsung (Memperbahrui aplikasi hp).

Namun pada implementasinya sampai sekarang ini, saya masih mencoba dengan php untuk bagian controll dan Modelnya, karena ketidakmahiran saya dalam JSP. sehingga masih perlu banyak belajar lagi.
